10/16/2014: Cairo Diagnostics Supports Breast Cancer Awareness in Westchester
White Plains, NY: Dr. Teresa Alasio was the keynote speaker at the October monthly meeting of the National Association of Professional Women, Westchester Chapter, on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at the Greenburgh Town Hall. Dr. Alasio gave a presentation entitled “It’s not always cancer: Biopsies, Breast Health and Prevention”, focusing on current screening guidelines for breast cancer, breast self-exam (BSE), types of biopsies performed on breast, and tips for lowering the risk of breast cancer. Dr. Alasio routinely performs ultrasound guided breast Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) biopsies at the Cairo Cytodiagnostic Center in White Plains.
