Dr. Sherif Ibrahim, M.D., Ph.D.  is recognized nationally as an expert  in the field of Hematopathology and Flow Cytometric Diagnoses.  Dr. Ibrahim previously held several positions at NYU School of Medicine and Hospitals (2001-2017), including Adjunct Professor, Director of Hematopathology/Molecular Pathology and Director of the Hematopathology Fellowship Program. He also previously served as a Hematopathology Consultant at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center from 2008 to 2017.  He performed his Hematopathology Fellowship at the M D Anderson Cancer Center.  Dr. Ibrahim contributed to the scientific literature in the field of Hematology and Oncology more than 60 peer-reviewed articles and several book chapters and presentations in Hematopathology and Molecular Pathology. He is an Ad Hoc Reviewer for several Pathology, and Oncology journals.  Dr. Ibrahim is routinely engaged by other pathologists and physicians to render second opinions on the most difficult to diagnose leukemia and lymphoma cases.
