Primary and Second opinion consultation with a board certified hematopathologist for bone marrow, lymph nodes and related biopsies (skin, GI, other tissue with suspected involvement by leukemia or lymphoma).
Our board certified hematopathologists reviewed thousands of cases in consultation over the last decade. Paraffin embedded blocks and slides are accepted for diagnostic interpretation. Extensive immunohistochemical stain panels along with FISH and molecular studies are used for confirmation of the diagnosis and to detect diagnostic and prognostic indicators. For flow cytometry and cytogenetic consultations fresh samples are needed. Fresh samples should be sent for same day delivery using our courier service or by FEDEX overnight for early arrival. Our hematopathologists are always available for case discussion with the submitting pathologist or physician.
